Collision Advice

Porsche vehicles have earned the reputation of providing one of the most exciting driving experiences known to automobile enthusiasts.  Assuring Porsche's high standards of performance and quality requires skilled and trained professionals who adhere strictly to Porsche's repair procedures.

Porsche has invested in creating a Porsche-specific estimating course in conjunction with Collision Advice with the goal of educating estimators on how to use PCSS, raise awareness of critical repair procedures and help them be more profitable.

The Porsche Estimating with PCSS course will be offered as a virtual live course, allowing your estimators to complete this certification requirement while eliminating the need for travel. Throughout the year, the class will also be held in select locations for those who wish to attend an in-person course.

During this course, we'll discuss:

  • How to analyze damage and document it in a way to assist you in negotiating with third-party payers, as well as reduce liability
  • Key considerations when replacing specific components, such as non-reusable parts, adjacent panel damage and much more.
  • How to analyze exterior and structural damage, including the different substrates used in today's Porsche vehicles and their repair limitations.
  • What Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are available on Porsche vehicles, how to identify if a vehicle is equipped and when these systems need to be calibrated.
  • The refinish considerations on Porsche vehicles, such as gravel guard, finish sand and buff, extending clear and more.
  • The importance of using the Porsche Central Service System (PCSS) to researching repair procedures and tips and tricks for finding what you are looking for in each system.
